Austin J. Griffin

Austin Griffin was born in Morgantown, WV, moving to Jacksonville, Florida at age thirteen. He attended the University of Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a focus in Medieval Literature and Rhetoric. At the University of Florida, he received honors including the UF Dean’s List, Delta Epsilon Iota Honors Society, and Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society.

Mr. Griffin received his Juris Doctorate at Wake Forest University School of Law, where he focused on Sustainability & Environmental Law as well as Corporate Law. He has been notably published in the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law for his article Shy Godiva: Digital Likeness And The Personal Data Protection and Breach Accountability Act.

At Wake Forest, he was also the recipient of Computer‑Assisted Legal Instruction (“CALI”) Awards in Energy Law, Evidence, Environmental Law, Food Law & Policy, Funeral and Cemetery Law, and Decedents’ Estates and Trusts.

Mr. Griffin is the newest addition to the firm, having just passed the Florida Bar Exam in September of 2015. His work at the firm not only encompasses the personal injury work it is known for, but also a legal blog, where he is a major contributor, and publishing of upcoming books on Florida Auto Injury Law.

Austin Griffin currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida. He is an avid supporter of the local arts community. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the federal bar of the Middle District of Florida.
